I just reported this one. If enough of us complain / report it to ebay, they will have to act soon

yes indeed, they yanked it shortly after I sent the report.
first time in my experience that ebay did the right thing so quickly

They may have gotten other complaints.

There have been a bunch of fakes coming up on Ebay lately. I've been reporting all of them, but this is the first one I've seen removed.
 
I've seen those fakes on the 'bay for awhile now. Most of the ones I've seen say "replica of" whatever model it is. Usually they're Commanders. That's BS!:thumbdn:

Yup, most sellers of fakes etc. are repeat offenders so the sellers name is always handy.

Back again he's now added REPLICA to the description
 
I notified Ebay days ago when he posted that knife the first time. I guess hearing from more than one person finally got them to pull it.

Community watchdog.. put up a community managed sticky. Mod's can add new offenders. the BF neighborhood watch.
 
Don't have time to go find it again but he's reposted it again. I shot Ebay another msg late last night about it.
 
I'll keep on sending messages as well each time I find these listings, and post new listings in this thread...

Emerson Commander Black 50/50 Folding Knife, Replica

I was almost fooled! Handles are great, clip good, quality right on! But the price was so low it couldn't be real even if everything else had checked out anyway. OK, its a FAKE!

I love a good knife and this one just about fooled me. The casual observer would never catch it. This is one cool knife, big and smooth. I remember having a Sypderco "Police" model with a fully serrated blade ($100). I carried it for three days, showing it off to everyone. I was proud of that knife. Pride has a price! It vanished. No one had seen it. Oh well! Easy come, easy go!

The real thing will set you back about $230.00. I'd have to have armed security guards in order to carry it. Some "Klepto" would have it in his collection before it needed resharpened.

Anyway, this is a super copy of the legendary Emerson Commander BTS. Better get your's before they're all gone.
