Do they exist? and what models are most commonly bootlegged. Just want to be informed so i dont make a bad buy in the near future as i purchased my first two Kershaw's from Ebay. They were two very good sellers and will most likely stick with them, but want to be educated for other purchases. Thanks

From what I've seen, the Leek is the most copied, although there
are others. If you stick with reputable sellers you should be ok.
If you see a Kershaw branded knife and something just doesn't seem
right, pass on it.

Definitely agree with SV. Lots of Leek copies I've seen. Hell, I've seen 'em as low as $10.00, but you'd have to be a fool to believe they were worth more than $1.99!!!

I haven't really seen any other models faked lately.

I have rarely if ever seen one that says Kershaw on the blade, but I have seen the Scallion, leek, whirlwind and a few others copied with no name on them......

I've seen a lot of copies, but I've never seen a "fake Kershaw," which to me would imply someone trying to counterfeit one, as opposed to just stealing the design, i.e. using the Kershaw logo, or the Ken Onion name, or whatever.

Same with me, I recently saw a ''knife'' with the design of the Leek in a kind of souvenier shop:thumbdn:

Someone posted a link to a fake ZT model here a while back. Had the ZT logo on the blade, but the pivot wasn't the 3/8ths nut, it was a phillips screw head if I remember correctly.

Here it is! A counterfit 0200!

I spotted a Leek wanna be on the Bay last summer...I think. Had Kershaw on it.
It was described as a Kershaw Leek. I informed GG about it, he waved his magic
wand and it was pulled within 30 mins.

I was at a gun show today and saw these.

Sorry for the lousy pic, but I was trying to be covert, taking it.
I find it hard to believe these were just embellished real leeks, but it was hard to tell without asking to take them out of the case.

Other than the crazy paint jobs and lack of Kershaw markings, they seemed too thick.
