I just got a "Tops" knife and I'm dubious as to its authenticity. The sheath looks very cheap, not what I would think thier standards would be. Any direction, tips, ideas?

Posting some pictures and model information would be a good starting point. Stating where you bought it, and how much you paid for it would also be good. Is it posible that the person/company you purchased it from lost the original sheath and provided a cheap, aftermarket one instead? Have you contacted TOPs and asked them?
Thanks for your reply 3Guardsmen,
I have no way of posting pictures ( I ride the short bus on the information superhighway ). I got it on ebay, paid 95 clams for it. I talked to the owner of Tops knives, he helped me confirm it was counterfeit. I feel bad for this guy. He's very nice and weasels are trying to ruin his reputation for a few bucks from suckers like me. The sheath is really cheap with Tops emossed on it. I've tried to contact the seller to see if he will make it right. I am such a greedy shmuck.:jerkit: :grumpy:
