Today I went to a local gun and knife show. While I was there I found a large 21 for sale. I asked the vendor if I could see it. Upon examination I noticed several things that made me believe the knife was fake. The thumb stud was not the right shape or size, the jimping was incorrect( it was barely visible) the finish of the titanium was off and there was no date stamp inside the handle slab. My question to you all is, was j wrong to point it out to the seller? I let him know because i don't want someone buying a fake when they think they are buying the real deal.

I would think the seller would appreciate your insight.
I would be furious if I found out that I was buying fakes and selling them.
How did he respond when you told him?

No box no card. He said that he bough it from somebody at a different show. He said he got a heck of a deal. He was surprised when I told him what I thought. I actually showed him my small 21 so he could see the differences. I went back by his booth and he still had it out.

Yeah. I think he knew what he had too. However he seemed genuinely surprised when I told him. Some of the people he wa running the booth with saw my blade and asked too se it. They were impressed with it.
