I'm thinking of buying a Mcusta Yoroi but many of the trusted site and popular sites they all sold out, so I just kept clicking into different website until I found one with a low price where I feel comfortable buying. But, this one looks "off" On the blade it say's MCUSTA VG-10 CLAD now i'm not sure if this is a different steel Mcusta used because all the other ones i've seen in photos it says MCUSTA VG-10 SEKI JAPAN.

The website is Paypal verified but i'm still unsure please check it out for me before I make a purchase.

Above photo looks like a laminate with a VG-10 core. Very common among Japanese knives, especially those with damascus blades.

Correct, it's San Mai with a VG-10 core. I am no Mcusta expert but I have not seen a Yoroi with "VG-10 CLAD" on the blade.

They say "We encourage our customers to contact us", but no phone number, no PO Box.

nopyo is right. This is a kitchen table business. Home page, account page, and contact pages are under construction. I wouldn't purchase from them at this point.

That knife on the picture does not look right: I have got the original, it has got VG10 laminated in DAMASCUS - with 16 or something layers, not a san may. Or is it the photo quality?

I do not know: the knife may be even OK, it could be just a photo....

Aren't most Japanese "layered" blades, pattern welded and acid etched, not true forged Damascus?

Adjacent, I believe San Mai refers to a clad(layered), or sandwiched core, also not truly Damascus.
