Hello everybody !!
I've been in the forum for three years. I seldom post threads but I've been browsing and reading posts on here. I've bought the Spyderco knives three years ago from Singapore and recently I read that a lot of people bought fake knives and I would like to have some opinions from you all whether my knives are fake or genuine. I have uploaded the pictures on photobucket and I will paste the link at the bottom of the page. I have posted quite a number of pictures from different angles. Please look through it and comment. I apologize for the large amount of pictures.

There are four knives in total. They are the SPYDERCO MILITARY LEFT HANDED, SPYDERCO MILITARY DLC BLACK BLADE, SPYDERCO MILITARY DIGI CAMO DLC BLACK BLADE and SPYDERCO PARA MILITARY 2.

Thank you very much for your time and opinions.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.

I'm going to agree on their legitimacy, not because I know Spydercos, but because the fakes only started showing up last year.

They are 100% real. You can tell by the pocket clip, the writing and as far as I know they dont fake dlc milies, not yet:eek:. Also you should be able to tell by feeling the g10, it should be grippy and not feel cheap.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your replies. I am relief that my Spyderco knives are legit and genuine. All your comments are much appreciated :)

I disagree based on the beveled lanyard hole and perfect top and bottom jimping when I zoomed in tight on the photobucket site.

If there's a bevel on the lanyard hole then that's my bad, I did look at that and couldn't tell one way or the other from the pics. I've also seen very convincing jimping on fakes.

The reason I think the PM2 is fake is because the spyderco emblem on the pocket clip tends to be slightly larger and noticeably higher on copies. Try comparing the OP's pic to a stock image search. I could be wrong though, just my 2 cents.

Another thing to look for is rounded g10 scales on the edges. Hard to tell on black scales, but that first millie looks a bit suspicious too.. but you'd really have to eye it out in person.

Also, with the PM2, the Golden, Colorado stamp/engraving looks ever so slightly off, and the chrome clips usually have a duller sheen to them; the fakes tend to have more of a mirror finish.

Again, just my opinion on the matter..
