Fake or mislabeled Buck on the Bay

I just saw this listing again Item #?. I have an 810 that 334dave gave me and the one listed is nothing like it. The handle looks to be a Cammilus or Western handle, the sheath is wrong, the serrations are on the wrong side of the blade. Of course the blade stamp was ground off. This seller has a top rating, i sent him a letter with the above details. Can somebody check this out and see if i am right.Thanks guys

Handle sure looks different than other Buck 810's that I find pic's of.

I am pretty sure that these are old Camillus seconds (markings removed) being sold by SMKW.

I've seen this seller peddling these on evilbay before and noted that they were NOT Buck 810s.

a buck 810 will say 810 .. if it is not there it is not a buck sorry..

I have a Western R-16 and the handle is exactly the same except it has Western Cutlery in the handle. The Western knives later were Camillus.

Mine has 810 stamped in it. I think camillus was contracted by Buck to manufacture them.

No problema. If Buck made it, the blade will be stamped BUCK. No one made the 810 for us.
