Fake scales?

I bought and tried to install some supposedly Flytanium copper scales for a pmw2 from amazon but after assembly the knife barely opened or closed. Closer inspection showed the scales were slightly large and contacted the knife at the finger choil. I know there’s plenty of fake knives but I never thought there’d be fake flytanium scales. Anybody else ever encounter this? I may try again but this time I’ll order directly from flytanium but I want to find out if anybody’s had issue with figment before buying again.

o_O Why did you order from Amazon in the first place man. C’mon bro.
Any way to use a dremel on it? Are they even ti?

I’ve had quite a few of the titanium PM2 scales and there Griptilian scales and never had a issue. Can you return them?

I ordered from there because I was buying a few other things and figured why not. I am returning them, not going to bother trying to make them fit. I’ve ordered lots of other custom scales from various places and they all fit perfectly so don’t see any reason for spending money and not getting something that works. I’m including a note with the return telling them I believe they are fake copies.

When I put my brass Flytanium scales on, I had to do a lot of screwing around & adjusting to get it to open and close correctly. Coincidentally, I'd had the same problems with another set of scales on that PM2 (never got it right with those, hence it being available for the swap)... leading me to believe it was the particular PM2 rather than either set of scales.
