Fake Sebenzas!!! Watch out

I'd love to get one just to see how close it is to the real thing. Just cant bring myself to support someone selling a blantant fake. If it were just styled like it, and not try to be passed off as the real thing i'd be more inclined

the problem with this fake is the knife pictured is an actual sebenza pic off of knifecenter. He didnt take the a pic of the fake and uses a actual sebenza pic, then says its d2 steel. Its a way of manipulation on ebay and this person should be banned. It says he from NC which is in the U.S.A so maby CRK can press charges on this fraud. Either way the fakes are very similar to the sebenza and they could pass for one if the buyer doesnt know any better. Its a Damn shame :(

And they're selling fake zebra meat to boot.
Sorry...couldn't help myself.

It's hard to call that one, my feeling is that it's not genuine and as already stated the picture is of a real Sebenza lifted from the interwebs. It's possible the knife is real and they just messed up the description, it's also equally possible that the knife is fake though, perhaps more so. I wouldn't buy it and who ever does is running a real risk of not getting what they thought they were. :thumbdn:

My folks live around where this guy is from... it makes me want to find him :eek:
If he had not listed the steel as D2, there would be more bids.

Has a big "0" for rating; meaning no history of prior buys or sales. Not good.

Nice....

"PERCENTAGE OF SALES GO TOWARDS VARIOUS CHARITES WORLDWIDE."

What a generous fellow this one is.

Stealin' my sarcasm from my Spyderco post! Haha but yeah I thought that was the funniest part.

What the F!!! sorry for the use of strong language, but everything these days appears to be a fake. I keep running across them and they are getting sneakier and sneakier. I came so close to buying a Microtech until I did more research. I am of the inclination that the dude should have his ad removed, no offense, but its just wrong to cheat someone.

At least I know my left-handed sebenzas aren't fakes (too expensive to tool up for such low volume sales). It's like being a Mac user and not having to worry about viruses and spamware...the unnoticed minority.

I think this is a reason why it's better to buy from dealers instead, you know you're getting a quality and real product. Or a community like bladeforums where people would be able to spot a fake in a heartbeat if someone were to post it on the for sale section.

Agreed. When you see a knife that's almost always out of stock from the dealer selling for a lot less than normal, I would instantly consider it suspect.

It already has a bid -I have reported this to ebay as a counterfeit. Someone should contact CRK to have ebay pull this listing...
