Well from [a non-BF dealer member] online purchase I got a $49 about strongarm!

Too bad its a FAKE! The box was open and knife unsealed. The Finish is to glossy and smooth like it was painted on or some thing, the grind is wrong, its to dinged up along with the coating worn scratched here and there.

I compared it to my last Black Strongarm I have. NO MATCH! Last black plain one I have, as I gave the rest to friends and family who used them many a time to literally strongarm them selves out of various problems.

This not an attack on A Marvelous Awesome Zany Online Nonstore online store, but a seller on that platform.

Now if I go a returned/blemished or second hand knife for that price, I would of gone " 'Eh its good enough live and learn." and kept it. As a Strongarm even used works pretty dang well. My friends and family can testify to that.

So watch out for those sub $50 Strongarms on Online platforms. Like a lot of them on type stores is my advice.

Sorry you got burned. I try to see if the item I’m buying is “fulfilled “ by the “” type reseller, or a Marketplace vendor. The Marketplace is kind of a free-for-all.

It’s no guarantee to buy from the Big River because the AMZ gets scammed with a lot of counterfeit returns and they simply don’t have the expertise to identify them.

Buying knives (or anything) from the Bay or the River can be problematic. Make sure you know your seller and the product.

There is 1 retailer I buy from and absolutely refuse to shop elsewhere
So if the "other guy has the knife" oh well
Exceptions are made, those are manufacturers website and retailers they list as authorized sellers
