Hey folks. I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but I thought I'd bring a knockoff to your attention. If you look through the site, you'll see they have fairly accurate copies of knives from nearly every major company. Again, I'm sorry if this has already been brought up, but the fake knives are realistic to the point where it might be difficult to tell the difference in an eBay picture.

thankfully, the grind is off, the thumbstud is the wrong color, the pivot screw is torx not hex(like the zt) the texturing of the g10 is off and a screw is missing from the handle (zt0200 has 3 connecting screws not two). but other than that i would agree it would catch people out. only thing to do with stuff like ZT (all price controlled) is purchase from a reputable dealer and not ebay or other places.

thanks for the heads up.

look at that wimpy little poser!!! not even close!

This would actually be considered a counterfeit and not a knockoff.
Using the ZT logo is a copyright/trademark violation, the design etc.
Hard to prosecute in another country though.
Just need to keep them from getting here.

I've seen this in person. It's not even close - much smaller. Seems like it has a 3" to 3.5" blade. I pulled my 0200 (real one) out in front of the store owner and she was quite surprised and impressed. The blade is black teflon coated or painted. Next to the real deal it was like a toy!

I handled some china made fakes before, the torx would strip easily and if you bend it (like prying) it sorta like opens up noticeably. Must be the inferior material used.

Thanks for the heads up mate, must remember to count the screws :)

he ment this knife, 0200 counterfiet

That website is well known for having counterfeit and ripoff knives. They've copied Kershaw, Spyderco and several other companies.
