Havw any of u seen that fake zt0888 that was marketed as a benchmade? Its the most pitiful exuse from china ive ever seen

hey kymedic45,
it's as right-as-rain. have 2 and yours is dead on. sleep well tonite. best regards, mike.

You can spot several things on that fake that are not right. I don't even own the knife but as a BM owner you can tell fairly easy. I also don't want to say anything to help these bastards out, but your knife is fine. Hold it up to the picture blade out clip up and you will pick it up quickly. You just scared yourself into thinking it was a fake, I too have been there.

There's a certain look and feel of a real Benchmade that spans all of the model years. Once you know what to look for you can usually see when something's not right; for these pieces of trash the overall fit and finish isn't there - and most of us know that's not what (quality shines after all...) comes out of either Oregon City or their true partner factories in Asia. Even the Pika II, while not made here is of good quality; and even with these the real ones are easy to spot. Again, Know Your Product. After all, most of these will be heirlooms one fine day. As for the copies and fakes, they'll make good boat anchors.
