Falcata pics

Great pix. Thanks for closeups... Anything that scared the Romans has to be a good thing. Celtiberians had them in the siege of Numantia.

Hope this the first of a new run of falcatas... and I can get one by Christmas.

Ganeesh & Co. are very well done... but I hope I can get a rather plain one.

Just when I decide I'm done, this comes along... :rolleyes: :foot:

Fascinating...aside from the extra engraving I already mentioned on the metalwork of the scabbard, my wood carving is all quite different. I have figures on all four panels for example...and the level of detail is markedly different. I don't know if I can get decent enough photos, but will try.

It calls for a fine control though...don't just beat it...make sure you use the sweet spot.
