Howdy boys,
It's been a while since I've been to Uncle Bill's cantina. I see a lot of changes but the important things are the same. I wonder if any of you can tell me if JJJ Variacraft make good useful swords as opposed to ornaments. I've been thinking of getting one of their Falcatas, but it has to earn it's keep with a little brush slashing, so it must be properly tempered to hold an edge and do some work. Any of you blokes had any experience with their products? How about Deepeeka?
I'd also like to take this opportunity to say how ashamed I am by the Canadian government's lack of support for America in Iraq. That clean-up was long overdue and Canada should have been lending a hand. Our PM John Cretin and his Liberal party don't speak for all of us up here. The sooner we get rid of him and his party, the better. Countries need friends just like people do and when your friend is in a fight you stand shoulder to shoulder with them or you aren't worthy of the name. I'm not very proud of this country right now.
Cheers, Mark

I've handled a few of the JJJ Variacraft models seem very cheaply made, not handeld the Falcata thou. I personally just barely put them above wall hangers. Unsure about Deepeeka's Falcata but seems to be higher quailty. One made by Del Tin prob the best production model i am aware of.

Course if i was wanting one, i would see if i could beg H.I to make one, or if had to get a smith to custom make one.

Thanks for the tip, Darkforster. H.I. would definitely be my first choice, if they made one. What do you say, Uncle Bill?

Looking for something like this?

But it's not being made anymore because they're trying to move the shop out to the boonies so to be safer from both the Maoists and the other people. Wasm't a big seller either. Too much for me at 5'4", fat, and fifty.

There are some out there, so you might want to beg, plead, and offer money. Sniveling and rivulets of tears along with
howls of agony and abslute shamelessness have helped in the past.

that one you have is nearly identical to mine. Could it me the same one? Th only other one I've seen has slightly different carvings.

Keith

Thanks for the advice, Rusty. I'll break out some onions or some rap music to get the tear ducts warmed up. Cheers, Mark:eek:
