Hi All, I have a Falkkniven NL3 which needs sharpening. My question is can I use a Sharpmaker on this sort of blade? I've only used the Sharpmaker on Spyderco knives before but the edge angle on the Falkkniven looks very different and I don't want to ruin it. Your advice will be appreciated.

The edge is convex, however Fallkniven actually recommends applying a v-bevel to the knife when sharpening so the Sharpmaker is fine, use the setting which closest matches the existing bevel if you want to keep the performance that you have now.

If you want to keep Fällkniven's convex factory edge, some high-grit sandpaper glued on a mouse pad is the ticket.
