With the Fall season here, winter bearing down on us,this is the best time of year.I like to carry most of the knives I have,I rotate them around.
Chime in,let's hear about & see what pocket knives you are carrying,or what's on the belt,or,however your carrying your traditional folders and fixed blades.
Here's my Tony Bose & a small C May Scandi .Pocket knife in the pocket,the little fixed blade,well,I bounce that around,BP,left pocket,and now,wearing heavier shirts,top shirt pocket,too

One of my own custom fixed blades on the belt, Katz Cheetah lockback on the belt, Spyderco Police clipped on left pocket, Almar Golden Talon Eagle in right pocket.

I've been spending a little time out in the woods and usually have these with me. Szilaski, Obenauf and a Cattaraugus remake.

Like VCM3 I like to rotate the knives so all get a little pocket or belt time. I change the rotation when the whim strikes me. For the last week or so it has been this little Ed Caffery EBK in a Paul Long sheath and this older Ray Cover in 440C.

I have that same knife in the bottom of the picture. I have not really used mine.

How does it stand up to use?

Thanks,
John

I rotate mine like Vince.
Sounding like a broken record I always have my Carson lockback on me. Kit surprised me with this knife about 3 years ago and it is always within reach.

In addition I always have a smallish to medium slip-joint in my right front pocket.
They range from small coke bottle in ironwood by Richard Rogers, a a '83 type whittler by Tony Huffman in bone, a Scagle type by Ray Kirk, a wharnie by Todd Davidson in mamoth ivory, Burke/Queen English Jack in black-lip, a stag gunstock by Bailey Bradshaw, A small lockback in bone by P.J. Tomes, a Don Cowles pocket fixed blade, a fancied up Case peanut by the late Jack Woods, an old case 83 whittler and an old Case Sodbuster JR.

If I ever get lucky one day, I hope to add a Reese or Tony Bose shadow or back pocket to the rotation.

BTW I only use a "purse" on the black lip after the "conversion" :D.

You guys/gals can relate to this.Once You're a knifenut, and you accumulate more knives than there are days in the week,it is pretty hard not to swap 'em around, and carry them , custom & productions,no exemptions. The majority of the modern knife carrying person, probably has a few,so a rotation of some style is inevitable. This thread is off to a good start already, let's hear about & see what's being carried & used.
Gus,that would make yet another cool thread."Bose Knife wish list",we then could morph it into a swap meet.A Dog leg Jack would be at the top of my current Bose most wanted list. It's not so easy being a modern knife nut :)

For me the fall & winter really sparks a heavier carry drive.

JW, the little Cat whittler has been darn good to me. Holds an edge very well and the blades function great. When closed, there are no tangs sticking up to snag your pockets. Use it !!

You could have gone all day without posting a photo of that EBK.

Made me get on another dang list....:D

Hey JB somebody's gotta keep these makers busy,no ? :)

I think I get "rotation frustration" in the Fall. Such a strong drive to carry, that I struggle to decide on which 2 or 3 at a time. :)

These 2 have been riding with me a bunch lately.

Krein TK1 in Paul Long pocket sheath.

Camillus #23 in front or back pocket.

Yeah Ford,do you get a guilty feeling about the ones you left home ? :)
I've got a few that have yet to ride.

Wow there are some great knives here:thumbup:
Yep I rotate mine, the only thing that remains constant, is a leatherman kick in custom pocket sheath with clip.

I am currentlty carrying a Al Warren small lock back on my belt. Redwood burl & S60v. It will soon be changing for 1 of his slippies I have coming.

Here is my winter rotation - always subject to change at a moments notice!!

For the slacks wearing days - the Ray Cover and the Mike Tison Trapper seem to fit the bill.

For the good days that i get to go casual - the Todd Davisson Swayback and the Joe Allen Back Pocket win out.
