In celebration of Fall and especially the fact that a GREAT friend just sent me a BK17 for my birthday...lets see your tweeners and chew the fat about them!

Seen here are my BK16, BK16 modified, BK17 (just acquired) and my BK15. The 15 is one of my favorites and I love this knife outdoors and in the kitchen. The BK16 is possibly the best all around outdoors knife of its size. The BK16 makes me feel like I am holding a close cousin of the well-known Kephart.

I love all the Tweeners too :D my 15 is always on my pack. The 17 and Saber 16 are my favorites and fit in my pocket nicely I take one of them on almost all walks. If cutting lots of veggies or meat and want a Super Sharp Blade the 98 will slice things thinner then thin :thumbsup: very useful blades :D

Here's my users. Great time for a photo. I just sanded all the crap off them and put a new mustard patina on most of them.

Re-curve with modded scraper pommel.
Standard with firefly.
98 with dyed dark brown handles.
Extra belly.
Dropped the spine and swedged.
Sheepfoot with firefly and scraper pommel.
Lastly the saber.

I've owned so many belt knives that have cost four times as much. I have found NOTHING better than the bk16.

My signature first production runs.

And these took me longer to find than the signatures. Smooth coated roll stamped non-first production etched. They earned a spot in glass on the wall.

BK15 my favorite tweener ... and one of my favorite knives out right ... I don't have a picture of all my tweeners but my 15s ... and have a 16 I use but not as much as my 15s ... I have a 17 or had ... I may never get it back from my nephew.

I really need to get more active here and join the proud Beckerhead clan one of these days ... it's one of the few subforums I frequent.

I love the knives and find alot of good people in here ... guess I can add that to my Christmas list ...

Holy smokes! I don't ever recall seeing a BK17 before and now that I have I instantly searched for one to buy, and of course they're discontinued. Lovely bunch of knives, but I blame your pictures for this sudden onset of misery and heartbreak, haha.
 
Nope, just five fingers. I also feel the forefinger area is too narrow. Custom scales is definitely the answer. Also, I know it would never happen, but I think it would be cool if two editions of the BK16 were made. Saber, and FFG.
