Two years ag I bought the A1 in Graz (Austria). It was written (the original box):
A1
Steel: VG-10 stainless custom steel
Hardness: 60 HRC
Handle: Thermorun elastomer
Sheath: Cordura
However, the hardness (60 HRC) and handle (Thermorun) are suppossed to be 59 HRC and Kraton, respectively. I asked Peter Hjortberger, the Fallkniven owner, about that. He kindly replied "this is from the first batch of 500 pc of the A1 and at that time we used Thermorun, a wellsewn cordura sheath and a hardness of 60 HRC for the steel. You might have a collector's piece!"
QUESTION: Somebody has the same A1 with 60 HRC - what is your experience? Comments?
