Evening (morning!) folks. Well my Fallkniven A1 and its On Scene Tactical kydex sheath from the BF monthly giveaway finally arrived! I was surprised to see it was quite smaller than I had imagined it would be. But it is one beefy blade! The grinds are clean, the edge shaves hair easily, sails thru paper envelopes like butter, and its nice belly will prove quite useful in various tasks. Two thumbs up for the edge grind starting very close to where it meets the handle. More useful than a lot of other designs I' ve seen out there. Balance is right at the finger guard, the way I like it. The kydex sheath from On Scene Tactical is well executed, though I' d prefer a belt clip that positions it at a lower ride as I need to draw my arms/ shoulder quite high in order to clear the blade away from the sheath. I haven' t put it to any real use yet but it seems to have a lot of potential as a medium/ large multipurpose blade.
