Hey People,

I recently got my 1st Fallkniven in a trade, an A1 with ceramic coating in solid VG-10 steel. After doing some research, I'm finding that the solid VG-10 blades have some collector value. I've been getting some offers for this knife and I'm just trying to find out what a fair value for it might be.

I really don't care whether I have a solid VG-10 blade or a laminated one, but if someone wants one for their collection, I'd hate to use it up when I can get a "regular" one and give mine to someone who'll appreciate the one I have. Normally I have a pretty good idea of what knives go for, but since there aren't many of these around, I'm not sure. I don't want to get cheated or unrealistic in my expectations. I just want to be fair for someone who's been waiting for this knife to pop up.

Thanks guy/gals

Well... what did you trade that F1 for in the first place? That should give you an idea of it's value. Moreover, if you plan on using it and at the same time you are trying to make a colector happy... just tell them to get you a new F1 (laminated VG10) with a neat Kidex sheat or something like that. That should do it.
