Fallkniven A1 + Spec Ops Combat Master?

Hey guys

I recently got the Fallkniven A1 with the zytel sheath, but im already looking for a better sheath for it.

Does anyone have the Spec Ops Combat Master sheath paired with the A1? Im interested to hear how the blade fits the sheath. Is there any side to side play? Does the tip of the knife make contact wiht the little screw at the bottom of the sheath?

I did see a pic of somebody who had modified their sheath because the tip of the blade hit the screw (cant find the pic again) but ive also heard through the grapewine that the short Combat Master fits the A1 like it was made for it?

Anyone know for sure?

For the record, the A1 has a 6'3 blade and the Combat Master fits blades 6' long.

Im not interested in custom sheaths this time, as i dont feel like the wait.

I have that knife and I hate that zytel sheath, it rattles.

I have the F1 with the zytel sheath. I think the combo is ok for the small Fallkniven, but not for the big A1. Neither one rattles. I just dont like them that much.

I had that combo, a long time ago. IIRC, the short combat master sheath worked perfectly. I think I checked the blade about 25 or 30 times sheathing and unsheathing it, to see if I dinged the blade at all. There was nothing. so I think you're good to go with this combo. Hope this helps.
