Fallkniven A2?

Just saw this on the Fallkniven site. I've been out of the loop for a while. What's the deal? I didn't have the brainpower to figure out how it compares in size to the A1, my all-time favorite.

The A1 is.... 160 Millimeters, or 6.299213 Inches

The A2 is .... 202 Millimeters, or 7.952756 Inches

The difference is 1.653543 Inches.

What about the unusual steel choice on the A2? It's a layered thing, right?

As I understand it, yes. VG-10 in the center for the edge, and 420J2 on outsides for toughness. Neat idea, though not new. It should work well for a biggish chopper.
