Hello there,
I have a Fallkniven F1 and I'm very impressed with it. Nothing I have or used can compare to it in terms of cutting ability. It just seems to sink right into wood like butter, much better than my ESEE RC6 and Izula, two knives that I really love. I don't like the increased chance of chipping, however...
What I really would like is a knife with the F1's ability to cut in a high carbon steel.
So, owners of the Bravo 1 who own or have at least used the F1, is this the knife??
Thanks, Eric

Though the Bark River Bravo-1 is a bullet proof slicing machine,

...something like Canadian Special or Fox River is all most folks really need.

Canadian Special.

Gunny and Fox River

And don't overlook the Bravo-1's little brother, the Gunny.

I love my bravo 1 but I really love my BRKT FOx River Magnum. for the size of the bravo 1 it is a beast.

The Bravo 1 seem quite heavy to me compared to the F1 JMO. Maybe the Gunny would feel better?

I agree with Big Mike, The Bravo 1 is a great knife, and built like a tank, but it is quite a bit thicker than the F1.

The Canadian Special, or Fox River would be closer comparisons to the F1.
