Fallkniven F1 Factory Sheath Options?

So I am pretty much set on getting a Fallkniven F1 this month (bonus time!) as well as a couple of ESEEs.

My question. There are two sheath options from the factory: Leather and Zytel. I have not found very good pictures of either. The leather sheath seems quite traditional black leather. The Zytel looks pretty modern molded hi-tech.

Can anybody vouche for one over the other? Is the leather sheath nice? Is the Zytel sheath nice? I know lots of people make customs for these but I want to choose the right one from the get-go. Price is the same so just a choice.

Anybody have comments/opinions on the Fallkniven F1 Factory Sheath options?

They are both decent sheaths.

Depending on your preference, and inteded use, either should work well for you.

I personally prefer the look of leather and my F! black Micarta user has the leather sheath. No problems to date, and I like it.

The Zytel sheath would have an advantage if used a lot in wet conditions, the blade is loose fitted allowing for some drying as oppopsed to being held tight against wet leather.

The Zytel sheath has a little "tab" on the side the holds the knife fairly securely when the strap is unsnapped. this allows for easy removal and insertion when in use. The Full leather loop flops back over top the knife, unless you tuck it back.

Very different options in terms of appearance. Like them both. Leaning toward leather...I like the flap.
