Fallkniven F1 handle

I have a Fallkniven F1 but am not too thrilled with the handle. I heard it is also available with a micarta handle. Has anyone seen or used this version? Is the handle made in the exact same size and shape as the Kraton one? Is the guard bigger or deeper?

Yes, the F1 comes with a micarta handle in the F1m. It´s a limited edition, only made in 200, but I think it´s still available.
The price is more than twice the price of a standard F1(at least here in Sweden).
I have both models and the handle on the F1m is much more comfortable, it´s very close in size to the standard F1, but the guard is a bit deeper and bigger.
The F1m is a pleasure to have in your hand.
The only negative I can say about F1m, is that the handle can be a bit slippry since it is polished.
I have solved that by gently roughing up the micarta with a coarse sandpaper.
