I've been considering the U2. There is also the slightly smaller slippie, the U1, and the slightly larger Tre Kronor. To whet my appetite, I'd like to see photos, and hear from those who own, use or have handled the knives. I'm also concerned about bladeplay (if any) on the U2, and sharpening techniques for these knives. Thanks

Planning to baton much with your U2? :D

I just bought U1, but I haven't taken photos yet and Im EDC:ing it before putting out too much opinion on it. Initial impressions:

1. Very slick, the scales (yellow bone) are very comfortable for the hand.
2. Slipjoint isn't very stong (say compared to SAK's)
3. Seems solid, thick metal frame
4. Torx pivot for me is con, pin would be just fine for slippie
5. Sheath has horizontal carry and rides firmly and very comfortably

I have PXL that ranks up there in my top 5 folders.
The construction, F&F and overall quality is excellent.

Fallknven just doesn't make any bad knives.

The U2 comes razorsharp and will stay sharp for a long time. No bladeplay at all, very light and for me an excellent EDC knife!

I have a U2. Great knife, no blade play. mine was a full convex until I decided to put a bevel on it. Very light. In fact, I put a lanyard on mine so that it wouldn't float away. Oh, and I love that steel!

The only drawback to many of their folders is that in the closed position there is a very sharp corner of the tang exposed and the U2 knife I had was sold because of this. Otherwise they are excellent knives.

Here are some photos I took just now:

I own and use a PXL, FH9, U2, and P/3G. all have proven to be very solid well built knives with excellent fit and finish. They hold an edge well and I have seen no evidence of blade in any of them.

I rounded the edges on mine. Overall a very light weight, sheeple and pocket friendly little knife.

That must have worked out OK I assume? I've been thinking about doing on mine and couldn't see any reason why it would adversely affect the locking mechanism, but was being cautious about proceeding.
