Okay, I done heard tell that Colorado prohibits knives with over a 3.5" blade length, but sez nuthin' about double edge. Seeing that the Fallkniven Garm was a thin red hair under 3.5" I figured I was all good . . . but at a function I attended today was told the courts here measure the edge from one side to the other, making a 3.5" double-edge knife 7".

That sounds like BS to me.

Is a 3.5" double edge knife legal to carry in Colorado, or would they consider it to be 7"? I'm in Denver if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

No, it's still just a 3.5 inch knife.

However, double-edged knives are not legal to carry almost everywhere.
