Fallkniven H1 Hunter in 3G: Design & Steel ?

Hi everyone - - I did a search and had no luck so I thought I'd post here. I'm interested in the Fallkniven H1 with 3G steel and would like to hear feedback on both the design of this knife and the quality of the steel, (especially compared to other high end steels. The posts I came across in my search didn't specifically mention this). - - I thought I'd go to a non-Fallkniven forum to get a broader viewpoint. Thank you - - -

P.S. - knife will be for general outdoor use and while big game hunting
 
Somebody posted in W&S a while ago that his was awesome at edge retention.
(Know it didn't help much, sorry.) :)

Thanks Troop. I read your review on your new DiamondBlade knife and am interested in it and the 3G Fallkniven. Of course the DB is about twice the cost of the H1, but it does have a pretty thick convex edge which should be good for tough duty. Am trying to decide on my next knife purchase for a good field/hunting knife.
