Are all Fallkniven knives made in Japan? If so, how long has this been the case?

There are early ATS34 F1-s that were made in Germany, but then came the VG10 and with it the Japanese manufacturing. If i know correctly the VG10 steel is not allowed to export in its bare form, only in finished products.

There is an easy way to see the difference in the knives.
ATS34: "pointier" blade and without protuding tang.

VG10 and variants: "rounder" blade and protruding tang.
