Based on all the reviews and hype I had to try a Fallkniven fixed blade, so I got an A1. Just got it today - sharpest knife I've taken out of the box - no hair left on my arms:confused: Anyway, for some reason, the knife seems smaller than I expected, especially in the handle. As you can see in the photo, the handle is a bit small in my hand.

My question - is the handle of the A2 exactly the same as the A1, or is it scaled a bit bigger to go along with the extra 2" of blade? If its a tad bigger the A2 would be my perfect knife.

Thanks,

Morgan

I've never had an A1 but I did have an A2 at one point. I can't compare the two but I remember that the handle of the A2 wasn't very big. It was enough for me but didn't have much to spare. And my hands are not that big.

Handle on the A1 is 120mm long, handle on the A2 is 123mm long. So the difference is nominal.

Sorry I don't have a better comparison photo, but you can see the A1 and A2 together in the top right corner of this group shot. As you can see the handle size is very similar.
