Fallkniven S-1, who's got one?

Hello all! I've been thinking about getting a Fallkniven S-1 and I was wondering who has one and what they think of it. I'll be using it for light to medium hiking/day trip tasks; nothing too serious. My main concern is handle comfort. The S-1's handle is thermorn (sp?) a harder form of kraton. I don't care much for kraton. I just got a CS Bush Master and I really don't like the heavily checkered handle. So, beside general opinion my main question is how comfortable is the handle, does it have that "cutting" feel that the CS kraton's have? Thanks in advance.

There are only two types of people; those who understand this, and those who think they do.

The grip of the S1 ist much firmer than Kraton (which I hate) and the checkering is less abrasive than those on the Cold Steel products.

Overall a very nice and handy knife with excellent ergonomics. You should get the Kydex sheath, the Cordura version plain sucks in my opinion.

The S-1 is a very nice light utility knife. If you like the S-1 also look at the SOG NW Ranger
