Does anyone have a Fallkniven S 1 and what do you think of it, am thinking of getting one for my woods knife. Im not new to knives, have Busse,s and Beckers, just thinking of adding one more, always in search of that perfect knife, thanks.
 
I have a S1, made from the fulltang blanks.

It has worked perfectly in the woods!

i have the S1,A1 and F1 and love em. i mostly carry theF1 because of its size but the S1 is a wicked knife as well. I rehandled mine and added a brass guard to give it a little more slip resistance just in case and now it's sitting permanently on my chest rig as the one factory knife i choose to carry.
 
I had an S1 for a little bit. I really liked it, but I would've liked the handle to be a tad longer. I have medium sized hands, but it was a little too small even for me. That said, that's a subjective opinion, whereas objectively it's a very well designed and constructed knife.
 
My favorite Fällkniven, it is quite slim but at the same time way sturdier than you would ever feasibly need, I would possibly like the A1 more but that has sticky nasty kraton handles and it weighs a ton, the handles on the S1 are very small compared to most knives in the class, almost too small even for me, also i am not too pleased by their triangular shape, i like my handles well rounded like the H1, despite that it fits me better than most
Marvelous edge, i would like it ground higher but that is my problem to solve
I like straight clip points like that
The H1 is a great knife too, cutting letters right now, a strongly curved skinning blade has its uses sometime and looks cooler
 
The whole clip point, sabre-convex thing works very well on the S1 which is one of my favorite Fallkniven. I find it to be both smaller and lighter than most alternatives with the same blade length. Like the previous poster I like the H1 too and consider it to be a knife that has never received the recognition it deserves.

Can You show pic's of this S1?
There are not many made with metalguards and another one makes me curious.

I got my S 1 and im in love, dont really care for the sheath i had a leather one that fits it perfect, the knife itself is awesome, great design, sharp as hell , well balanced and has performed every task i have asked of it so far, what more could a guy ask for. Thanks for everyones input.
