fallkniven thermorun handle durability

How does the handle hold up in the long run? I saw some photos of it getting damaged from batoning but I won't be batoning with mine. Is it like kraton where it gets softer the older it gets? And for fallkniven owners that uses kydex sheath, does kydex wears the handle out? Lastly does it absorb fluids?

Fallkniven's thermorun is a lot more like hard plastic than rubber. The handle of my F1 doesn't have any give that I can feel, and I seriously doubt that it will absorb fluids.

I've had it since 2008, and aside from some minor scratches (none of which were caused by the sheath) the handle is good as new.

i know they have a limited 2 year warranty but do you know if they offer rehandling if in any case you damage the handles?
