I tried searching for it but the engine omits the U2 part....

But yea. Just had a few questions on the knife. Is the pivot a screw or just a pin (can I adjust it or not?). Also, does the blade flick out readily? And finally, how is the blade steel? Would you say it is on par with vg-10, better, or worse?

put a * after U2.

that should help.

The blade won't flick out since it's a slipjoint.
The steel is at least as good as VG-10.

Actually it's a lockback. The U1 is the slipjoint.

The steel is 3G steel, a core of SGPS powder steel, with VG2 sides. It holds an edge longer than VG10.

It will not flick out, and its not a one-hand opener. You need both hands to open it.

The pivot is a screw, so it can be adjusted.

Not to worry Jos, I will teach you my super secret method of opening a U2 with one hand.

This method resembles the E Pop opening method shown by David Brown. a.k.a the Brown E Pop method.

Actually I don't mind that it's not one-hand opening (exept if your special method is used).

nice small kinfe, but i would get a delica instead
has a clip, more resistant overall i believe, better grip, one hand opening, easy carry

There is another method of one hand opening, not that fancy though.
Tie a small piece of paracord, leather or whatever in the lanyard hole. Just one or two inches.
When you need to open the knife press the blade between your index and thumb and pull the string thing with your teeth. That way you will not loose it if you really really need it.
One other way is to wait until May when Fallkniven release their PXL.

The 3G is close in composition to S30V so it should perform about the same. I 'm just starting to use a TK-1 and when I do enough cutting I'll post a review.

Thanks! Really all the info I needed to know to buy this knife.

I do have a delica and all but my reasoning for looking at the U2 is that being in NYC, i'd like to have a knife thats friendly with police (none of that flick the knife open equals gravity knife BS). So surprisingly enough two handed opening is what i'm going for. Plus a few years back when I just got started with knives I had a gerber LST and loved the design and the U2 looks just like a LST but better steel.
