Hi there,
I've read su much about the astonishing qualities of the two brands. Both are showing tests on their homepages. But wich one is the better one?
Thanks for your replys

Michael ;)

I had one Fallkniven (A1 model) and tons of Busses in sizes from the Assault Shaker through Battle Mistress. At the links below are results of some testing I did with them a few years ago while clearing maple branches:

Bottom line: I eventually sold the Fallkniven and some of the Busses. It wasn't that the A1 or the Busses were bad knives, but I had too many in the same size window. So I culled some of the knives that weren't the "best of breed" for that size or purpose. The blades I keep these days are Busses. ;)

I would add that there is a matter of budget here too, as Busse knives are maybe better made than the Fallkniven (the grind on the A1 is awefully thick, but then you can make it convex if you have some power tools and a bit of know-how), but they are quiet a bit more expensive too :)

The current knife for sale at the Busse website has a convex edge.
No kiddin'
It's a nice one too, the Satin Jack, around the same size as the fallknivens.
