if they'd ever make some of their VERY neat nail nick models one handers.

The hole doesn't need to be tapped. You can buy thumbstuds that are already threaded. All you need is to drill the hole and the screw for the thumbstud goes through from the other side of the blade and screws into the thumbstud. Drill bits can also be pruchased specifically for drilling through hardened steel. I know that Knifekits.com used to sell everything I've mentioned here (thumbstuds with screws, drill bits) and I would assume that they still do.

If you don't have the equipment to do the job yourself, you might be able to find a shop in your area that could. I don't imagine it would cost much to have one hole drilled. Or, you might find someone on this forum who could do it. Lots of custom knifemakers on this forum who could likely do it in their sleep.
 
OP, I think you are looking at their designs from an American perspective. You need to realize that in general, the european knife designers are more interested in non-one hand opening models and non-locking models due to European carry laws. I think we have enough one handed opening super duper assisted opening locking knives here in the US, dont ya think?

Your observation is more akin to criticizing Jaguar for not making an SUV with 12 cup holders and a rear seat entertainment center preloaded with Disney movies for the kids. Thats an American thing...

I saw the thread title at a glance and thought for a second that Fallkniven was coming out with a shovel and got very interested. Then I realized my mistake. :D

I do not really ever need one hand opening, though i can certainly appreciate it, can always 'spydie drop' most nail nick knifes one handed
What i want is a L O N G E R and perhaps wider U2 with some other constellation, where are those? They said they would make several
