Fallkniven's GP --- My only reaction was WOW!

This weekend I was working a knife trade with a knife dealer/retailer at a local gunshow. He said he had a knife he wanted to show me because he wanted me to consider it before deciding to commit to the trade/deal we were working. That knife was Fallkniven's GP. After he handed it to me and after I inspected it, I opened it. As I opened it my only reaction and my only word was," WOW!" He just chuckled. I asked him if he got that reaction often which he confirmed. I'm not at all surprised. After a few minutes of studying the knife, I told him though tempted, I just couldn't consider it because I wouldn't be able to break down and use it. That knife just begs to be carried and used. We then discussed the GP for a while before completing the original trade/deal we were working.

If you haven't handled the Fallkniven GP, I suggest you do if given the chance. It really is an amazing knife.

The only Fallkniven I can afford is the sharpener..... :D

They are beautiful knives...all of them, esp the GP!!!!!!

Ball bearing. Solid lock up. I've no doubt it is one tough knife.

Looks nice, but I don't think this qualifies as "traditional".

That's a cool one. Fallkniven has my attention, and I'd certainly like to own one. Their VG-10 is very nice stuff. I can't help but wonder who is making these in Japan for Fallkniven. I like it, sort of neo-traditional.

I believe the Fällkniven line of folders are made by Moki.

The edge on the GP, came with a thick bevel and I thinned it out a bit.
The cobalt steel holds an edge very well.

The GP fits perfetly in a KSF folder pouch.

You really cant beat the fit and finish of Fallkniven! I have an FH9 ivory and have a Maroon micarta on order! Those are awesome EDC size, come w pocket clips!! Awesome, just awesome knives!! I d like to get one of their Volcano fixed blades! But they are hard to find!!

Those are really slick looking cross-over knives. Like a big Barlow with a S1 Forest shaped blade.

You know what that looks like to me? The blade shape reminds me of the Navy survival knife posted in another recent thread.

I always liked the looks of it but never pulled the trigger.
What's your long term experience with it?
Do you recommend?
It's beautiful:

Ok...... I'm in love! One of these will be in my future. Thanks for bringing these to light.

Moki did a 100th anniversary (or similar event) knife that looked kind of like that minus the modish features. Really nice looking knife.
