Has anyone seen the new Fallkniven PXL in person? I am pretty excited about it as I really like the Fallnivens I have. I haven't seen it for sale anywhere yet either -- just available for pre-order....

+1 here. I've been looking for a knife to supplant my BG42 spyderco military. Specifically, I am looking for something sebenza-ish without the sebenza pricetag. I believe the PXL will suit my needs.

I'm also interested in knowing details on availability.

Looks like it will be a nice knife, not military or tactical in appearance, much more PC in that regard. The shorter clip will not be as noticeable either. The clip is removable but not reversible, sorry lefties. It is a very good looking knife for those who want something other than a black tactical piece. I would like to have one in the white micarta myself. For those who want to see this knife here is a link to the website:

btw...don't faint when you see the price, it is listed there in Swedish krona (SEK) not US dollars, figure it to cost about $200.00.

WOW, that is a good looking knife and looks to be built very strong. Is there a place to preorder these?

I sent an email to NGK to see if they have these on order, and asked to br notified as soon as they arrived. The more I look at this one the more I like it. I know that it is not as large as what I usually carry, but it is built heavy duty and weighs in at 6.2 ounces, which should make it a handfull of knife, and just what I like. Blade is .140" thick and liners are .071" thick. Got these measurements from the Fallkniven web page, and liner thickness from KF. The pocket clip is absolutely perfect. Short and foldover deep carry is outstanding! Hope to be able to pick one of these up in the near future.:thumbup::D

This is the main reason I'm looking at the PXL. I love my spyderco military, but it is absolutely not sheeple friendly. Normally I don't care, but I do get tired of the looks and occasional comments when I use the milie.

That is a bit heavy for a pocket knife ,it would be better in a belt pouch. I'm using a new TK-1 which has the same steel and it should be very close in performance to S30V. I'm also going to test a U-2 , 2.5" blade with the same steel and weighs only 1.5ozs !That should be sheeple friendly enough.
