First a False Edge Hunter:
14.jpg

This is the last "False Edge Hunters" you will see as I discontinued the model. The blade is made from Odins Eye Damasteel powdersteel at 60 Rc and cryotreated. The edge is 3" long and overall lenght is 7.5". The handle is Thuya and the sheath is halftanned leather covered with lizzardskin. Has a nice halftanned leather/lizzard sheath. next is a rather new model called "The Prince"

The blade is made from RWL-34 powdersteel at 60 Rc and cryotreated. The edge is just under 3" long and overall lenght is 6.7". The handle is Mammoth ivory and the sheath is halftanned leather covered with lizzardskin. has a nice halftanned leather/lizzard sheath. Click HERE to see more pictures.

Thanks for looking

I really like that False Edge Hunter.

Normally I don't like a "false" edge on ANYTHING, but in this case I love the way the upsweep on the blade reflects the downturn on the handle.

Ahhhhh....symmetry! :)

I have a renewed interest in Scandi-styled knives and those full tangs have so much puuko influence. As usual the execution is remarkable. You know I'm a fan, Jens. Just beautiful, both of them. Jason.

Don't know how I missed this thread but I'm glad I looked, beautiful knives both of them, I just looked at your other pictures and I really like the way you've made the sheaths, great looking package, Dave

thank you very much...I also liked the way these sheaths turned out...I usually do a fold over type of sheath on these but I much better like this way....even though i have to stitch twice as much....and I hate stitching.. :)
