FAMAE SAF in BATAC company

Just got this to add to my collection, a semi auto version of the FAMAE SAF in 9mm assembled and finished by Brugger & Thomet. Its very close in design to the Sig 550 series rifles which I Hog (sorry, collect). I have to order the correct Brugger & Thomet picatiny rail, the one in the pic is for the 550 rifles and just posing there with the Aimpoint. This should be a fine shooter, hefty for its size and very solid construction. The Badger ? Ah the Badgers are my favourite Busses together with the meaners...hey I love the AD's too and come to think of it the Razors....oh man the razors. And then I'm just crazy about Wardens and BM's ........What the hell, I have the sickness

What kind of restrictions do the swiss have on gun ownership ? Is there any limit on the cal. , or rifles ? Gerry

IIRC, similar to Israel, aren't all fit male citizens of Switzerland in the appropriate age range part of their Defense Force and, essentially, required to be armed and proficient in the use of said arms? One way to ensure neutrality is to be prepared to defend it. By the way, nice piece. Pete
