Took the family camping this week at Mossyrock Park in Southwest WA.
It's on the western tip of Riffe Lake. A very nice area.
Got a little bit of rain Monday night, but the weather was great the rest of the week.
The park isn't very primitive, but it had a lot of amenities for the family. A small store, public restrooms, a playground, and swimming area. This made my wife happy.
I was able to get the boat out on the lake and catch a few fish with the kiddo's.
Put in a little time with my new BK20.
Had a lot of good food and a few Rainier's.
All in all it was a very fun trip.
The kid's had a blast and didn't want to leave.
I shaved down a branch with the BK20 for a walking stick. Did some light chopping with it as well. The 20 performs like a champ. My forarm and elbow were a little tired after carving the walking stick. This is a BIG knife!
I'm really impressed with this design.

Sunset over Riffe Lake.

S'mores fire.

My little guy taking a dirt bath.

I used my BK11 to carve a little wooden spoon for my daughter. She thought it was the coolest thing and insisted on using it for every meal.

Coming back from the watering hole.

Saw this random fat little pot bellied pig come out of the woods.
I'm pretty sure it was from a nearby farm, but I told the kids it was a wild boar.
They wanted to "hunt" it and roast it on the fire. Lol

A view from the back of the boat.

My nephew with a little bass.

A few silver's I caught. These are landlocked coho that are stocked in the lake. Bright red meat and good eatin'!
