My great-grandfather was an fresh-off-the-boat german blacksmith, and he made this knife. My careless uncle gave it away to a friend of his. Well this friend, knowing I am into knives in a big way, decided that it should be returned to the family, and gave it to me. I am really happy to have it back. Now to get the display case.

nice.that is to cool getting a peice of family history back.are you going to try to clean it up at all or preserve it as is?
