I took my wife and kids to the theater this afternoon, I dont go that often, but something drew my attention to this film. A PG rating for the family. Its called "The Last Mimsy". Well worth it.
Edit in; Nepal and Tibet specifically play an important role in this film.

Thanks H20! :)
I've seen a few teasers on TV and it sounds like something I would like to see. I'll have too search it out online and see just what it is about as the teasers have just been teasers.;)

Yvsa,
I think you will enjoy it. Nowadays its getting more difficult to find a suitable film for kids in the 7-8 y.o. range, Its not like when I was that age there was no rating system. I remember my dad taking the family out to see Shane, have never forgotten it. That scene in the bar left an impression.

Thanks shappa I'll check it out.

Took my 2 oldest boys to Mimzy on Saturday - loved it!

My Dad gave us Secondhand Lions to watch last week. It was fantastic. Of, course, I needed a box of kleenex to go with it..............but that's OK. The trailers on the other side of the DVD were really good too.
