Just thought I'd share some pics of my current collection for both comparison purposes and for admiring :)

Spine comparison. Gotta love thick knives.

The utility blades

Spine comparison again. Man the Regulator is one beast of a knife.

Check out my sick RMD sheath setup: One part Steelnut kydex, one part ESEE molle.

What should I add next? I'm trying to move the TOR, I'm thinking maybe another Waki or perhaps a FBM. An ESEE 5 will probably join the gang in the near future as well.

Love the Waki.
That is some nice kydex too.

You really need a Junglas in that gang, if only to keep the rest of them honest.

I actually am really thinking about getting one. My dad has one and the only thing I don't like about it is that its really thin but I haven't heard of anyone ever breaking one so its probably not something I should worry about. I want a chopper to beat the ever living crap out of till the coating is gone, then strip it and give it a really deep dark patina and a mirror convex edge.

Don't let the thinness (relative to some other knives, like the ESEE 5) worry you. It is plenty tough, and the blade being slightly thinner makes it quite lively in hand and gives it great balance. It is a knife that really begs to be used, and the coating holds up surprisingly well.

I don't think you would break one. The crew at Rowen put one in a vise, put a cheater bar on it, and pulled one to damn near 75 degrees before it snapped. Shon Rowen really does have some sort of magical Heat Treat going on. The video of it is on the ESEE site somewhere.

The handle is roomy and really very comfy for extended use. The sheath is fantastic too, which is a great plus.

For the money, I think it is one of the best values in its class. I keep one in my truck bag, and it gets used around this swamp I call a property plenty. I have never been anything short of impressed by it.

I've seen the breakage video on the junglas but what concerns me is that compared to the dogfather it didn't bend far at all. I still really want one though. Its a sick looking blade. I have enough money right now for one too. Hmmm $160... I may go order one tonigh....

You need to pop the cherry on that M9! And you need the FBM. That one's at the top of my list too.

Nice collection. I wouldnt mind adding a scrap yard to my collection. Speaking of which, here it is. This is only my decent fixed blades, no cheapies or folders included.

Nice collection, KalEL.

I can tell which one you have used and which you haven't.:D

I recommend using the ones you have, and not getting another one..........nah, who am I kidding? That's not any fun! :D I'd say get a Junglas. Great knife and a great user.

I like your RMD sheath set-up too.

You have some fine steel there KalEL, and those of you who have posted pics as well

I am contemplating adding something really big to the collection next. I just got paid and have all my text books purchased so I have some decent money. Im looking at a blue and black handled m9 LE, KZ II, FBM, junglas, and another waki or scrapizashi... just can't decide.

Well, there is a small family of three:

That are the knives I made from Kanetsune blades. Mostly kingwood and some buffalo horn and eben.
The fourth one will be eventually added - have another blade in stock. Probably next summer - who knows!

Wow, you managed to make the esee6 look tiny! Very nice collection of users :)

Well I just pulled the trigger on a scrapizashi. I was thinking about buying that gorgeous custom shop m9 LE on the exchange but I would never use it so I got something I could really lay a beating on :)
