I figured it was time to finally show my entire collection as I am planning to sell a few. Didn’t realize how many I actually had until they were all laid out. I’ve had a great time researching these and looking around for knives that I really like. Thanks to you guys for all the help. As you can see, old style Victorinox alox is something I really love to collect. Most will stay mint, but I try to use everything else. I listed everything, basically going down columns from left to right, sharing some thoughts or info.

1. Leatherman Micra: This thing is just great. Rides on my key chain with a Photon light.
2. SAK Trooper: Like the GAK. This has a great saw. I like the Safari line and I have a Safari solo in my first aid kit.
3. Emerson CQC-7A (2002): Got this over the summer. I love it, but I never have carried it, as it has never been able to crack the rotation. Figured it was a collectible and I should keep it new. I plan to sell this soon. Cool knife and I found it at a store where it had been sitting for 8 years.
4. Bradley Alias 2: I love this knife, but I ended buying a Sebenza. The day the Sebenza got here was the last time I ever carried this. It is a great knife, but … Putting this up for sale as well. I feel like the handle is more blue than others I have seen. Very cool knife.
5. Victorinox Farmer (blue): The Smurf version of one of the best knives all time.
6. Victorinox Electrician: Old school version NIB.
7. Victorinox Soldier: 2005. NIB. Also have an ’06 that I carry a lot.
8. Victorinox Pioneer: Old style cross, NIB. First red old cross I got.
9. Victorinox alox Solo: NIB. One of my favorites. This would make a wonderful suit knife if I could ever bring myself to use it. These are pretty rare new.
10. Victorinox alox Farmer: Try carving a pumpkin with a SAK saw. This is with me at all times out in the woods and will be forever.
11. Victorinox Electrician’s Plus: This one has the brass liners and old styled tools. They were not rounded and polished and grip much better.
12. Victorinox Electrician’s Plus: Blue with the old cross. Something like only 42 of these were made. One of my favorites. Check Felinevet’s store at SOSAK. He always has great stuff like this.
13. Strider PT-CC: Wow. I love this knife. Got it from Plaza Cutlery. They hand picked one for me. Great people. This and the Sebenza basically dominate the rotation.
14. Victorinox Settler: NIB. 2002 blade.
15. Victoriox “dogbone”: Forget the actual name. Says “Lincoln Nebraska” on the side. Pretty rare.
16. Sebenza (small, 21): My favorite knife. This thing is awesome. Hard to tell, but I use this all the time.
17. Spyderco Delica 4 (ZDP 189): This is in my tool bag. I work as a painter and carry this on jobs. Tough knife.
18. Victorinox Soldier: 1978. My birth year. Has the old quality control stamp required by the Swiss government. Early 1980’s the government realized that every single one was perfect and stopped checking. Bought this from a guy in Switzerland. Took forever to get here. I cleaned it up and carry it on special occasions, like weddings.
19. Bark River Micro Canadian: One of the smallest and one of the toughest. This has been with me for a while.
20. Hinderer Flash Point: XM-18 is too hard to find and no way I am paying what they go for on the secondary. This is basically a fixed version. I love it and it is a hell of a lot cheaper. Haven’t used it yet.
21. ESEE Arrowhead: Gold member. Made some cool spears with this.
22. Ritter Grip: I do a ton of fishing and this always with me. Figure if I drop it in the water, I’ll be able to see it. This knife can slice like no other.
23. Fallkniven F1: Got this recently and can’t wait to take it out in the woods. Figure this and the Busse will get equal time in the field.
24. Victorinox Electrician: I carry this one a lot at work. That and a 2006 Soldier which I forgot to include.
25. Spyderco Ladybug: Old black sheepsfoot.
26. Spyderco Ladybug: Rare orange. I gave this to my wife. She loves it and I wouldn’t have her carrying anything less than dope. Didn’t realize how hard they were to find when I gave it to her though.
27. Swamp Warden: Super light. A great back up. I might sell it though as I have an awful lot of backups.
28. Gransfors Bruks Mini Hatchet: With me at all times in the woods. Cuts wood like butter. Amazing little tool.
29. Busse Game Warden: Satin, red G10, the thinnest blade they make. Got a really nice black leather sheath from Chuddy Bear. I use this a lot. This knife is bad ass.

This is my collection. I have given away several, but these are pretty much what I have gotten in the last several years. The only one that is missing is my original Howling Rat. Sold it a while back. Was a great knife, but it was a crime for it to guard my dresser. Just bought a Bahco Laplander saw yesterday. Figure with that, the GB and the pocket chain saw, I can tackle anything.

There a few I would like, but I have all the users I need. Eventually, I would like to own a Paramilitary 2, Benchmade 940, a Nmandi and an Emerson Mini A100. And obviously a custom folder. I desperately want a small Lambert. But I am saving pursuing customs for a few years, as my wife and I just had a kid and that kind of money is just not there. Speaking of my son, I also will be purchasing a 2010 Victorinox soldier. It will be his one day.

Hope you enjoyed my collection. This is a great place. Thanks again.

Hi jackman2 -

Your collection is very nicely rounded -

I would say you could try some Kershaw stuff - they have some great knives and you can get a taste of them very reasonably from kershawguy's blemish sales in the exchange.

I would say the exact same thing about Zero Tolerance.

I would also suggest perhaps looking at JK Handmade knives - they are reasonable and you could add a nice Kephart or EDC Kephart to your collection for a reasonable cost.

Thanks for the pictures of your collection - you have some very nice stuff there.

best regards -

Jackman, I especially like the Barkie and the (BM?) Emerson 975. The Game Warden and the yellow Grip are also eye-catchers for me.

Ya I think I need a really nice Case slipjoint. I figured eventually I could get a Kabar kukri. I've got some trails I could make at some of my local fishing holes.
