I wanted to share a Family Picture with all of you. Enjoy.

A very special Thank You and a tip of the Stetson to nyefmaker for making the posting of this picture possible. Couldn't have done it without you!

no picture

try uploading it to a site like photobucket, then use the IMG code, and paste it in your post. Curious as to what this is

you can send the pictures to me by email, and i can upload them if you get too frustrated with it

Thanks. I appreciate the help. nyefmaker has been walking me through the process and we almost have it but there is something I am neglecting to do.

I have wanted to share my Sebenzas since first joining the group but having never done any of this before I had no idea how to go about it. I didn't even have a camera.
I got myself a camera and learned how to operate it by viewing the DVD that came with it. I had never even put a DVD in my computer before that. I have taken some pretty good photos and learned how to transfer them from the camera into my computer. I have some of them in a Flickr account and was attempting to get them from there into the Forum thread here, with the generous help from nyefmaker. There has been a lot to learn in all of this and I thought I had it, but apparently there is something I am not doing right. It does get frustrating when one has no idea how to go about what they wish to accomplish. If I knew how to delete the thread I would do it, but I can't even accomplish that much. Rather embarassing to say the least.......

Nah, don't be embarrased, no big deal, same thing happened to me a while back. It's a bitch trying to figure out how to link up pics with this site if you've never done it before. We'll all be waiting :)

And like 김원진 said, feel free to email me and I can upload and post it for you. You can email me at snishioka [at] (replace with "@") icontrol.com

We are getting there.....Trying to work our way through Flickr. When I first started using it awhile back, it would only post the image code and not the pic. Got it figured out awhile back. Now I am helping " Desert Hermit " though the same issues I had. Hopefully we can get the pics showing soon. Hang Tight..!

There are a few ways to post pictures from Flickr. Easiest way would be

Got the individual photo page, Click "Share" and select "Grab the HTML/BBCode."

Then choose the size you want and make sure you select "BBCode."

After doing this, just select the entire code you see in the box above (usually clicking mouse anywhere in the box will select the whole code), and copy (Command + C for Mac, Alt + C for Windows).

This where you can find the code to paste.

Then come back here and just paste the code to your comment box. This way, you don't have to deal with toolset in this forum's comment box.

Alternative way is

on photo page, click "Action" then "View All Sizes." Then show the size you want, and right click on the image and copy "Copy Image Address" (how it say is different per browser). That's the URL you want. Then come back here, and click "Insert Image" button in the toolbar of the comment box (3rd one from right) and select "From URL" and paste the URL you just got from Flickr. Make sure to uncheck "Retrieve remote file and reference locally."

I know, it sounds pretty tricky right? So I do recommend doing the first method I wrote above.

looking forward to seeing your pictures, and hopefully after nyefmaker helps you, it'll all click after that :)

Great Post.......This is where we are and and I posted visitor messages on his page showing such. Just for some reason its only posting the image code and not the pic. I had the same problem when I first started using Flickr. I believe ALL of the image code is not being copied as if just one character is left out, it will not post the picture. I have a MAC, so I am a little windows rusty. But the process is still the same, its just you copy/paste differently is all. Hopefully tomorrow with my help and yours, we will get him there. Thanks Again.

That was it!! I was trying to "Copy" and Paste the wrong image code. What I did was to highlight the code beneath the photo and copy it instead of doing the box as you just showed me. We just might have this now. It has been a hard process when I do not even have basic computer skills and no one to turn to for help. I want to thank all of you and especially nyefmaker for your encourgement, (which I desperately need) and your offers of assistance. Without you I would never have accomplished this. Thank you all so much!!!

This is the "Family" so far. I have wanted to share these with all of you since joining the Forum. Now, thanks to all of you I have learned how to do it. I hope you all enjoy the photos (something else new for me) as much as I enjoy the knives. :)
