famous buck

Well...I'm thinking that some of us here are too obsessed with collecting or accumulating them to spend time becoming famous.
But, I am a legend in her mind... ;)

Ok, I have a famous one for you.Mr. Samuel R. Shorts who did Buck's Aurum etched blades in Garland, TX.. from 1975-1990. Whom I have met.He did the majority of Buck's etching during those yrs.. Who was even good friends w/ President Regan taking knives to the White House on numerous occasions for The President's viewing and subsequent purchase.I'm sure some were Buck Knives. I think thats up there high enough to qualify.

Stallone? I heard Angalina Jolie has a few as well.

As a side note, my son tossed her a salad one night. He said it was the best cobb he ever made and hoped she enjoyed it.

If I remember right, Buck gave a knife to Reagan while he was in office. I seem to recall a picture of Jay Leno posing with a Buck bowie of some sort.

Rumor also has it that Buck was approached about making a knife for then president Clinton.....Buck declined.

The Ronald Reagan Library is where I bet The Late Great Presidents collections are. I heard the one of no Buck for Clinton ! Man I love this company. I bet Charliton Heston (God rest his soul)had a bunch.
