I built this knife for the blade show and unfortunately it came home with me. A few weeks later a really good client emailed me with interest but wanted to know if I could add a pocket clip to the knife. After some design work I came up with a damascus pocket clip that I thought complimented the knife. The clip can also be switched for left hand carry if the owner wanted it switched over. I hid the extra bolster screw holes by tapping them and putting screws in from behind. I think that is looks much nicer than having exposed screw holes or screw heads.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

A great knife made more useful with the stylish clip. Clips are a strong selling point to many. Also a chance to really show your 'custom/handmade' skillz.

A+

The tapped bores are brilliant. Unless I was pointed to them, I'd never know. What type of head on the other side?

The the tapped holes have slotted screws screwed in from the underside. The switching of the clip is something that I would have to do but it would only take about 2 min.

Often when commenting on a knife by Chuck I point out, in my opinion, that he comes up with more designs than any maker I know.. (Stan Wilson, and Kelly Carlson a close second...) It seems that every knife posted is different from the last.. I know he makes popular models in numbers, but dang he has a creative streak.. I like this knife but if buying it myself it would be sans clip, but you have to try to give your customer they want. (within reason..) I agree with JC too that you did the best possible job with both materials and construction.. Beautiful ivory by the way Chuck... Best Regards, Rich

Knife was opened today. It is a stunner and I am thrilled to get it. I know the clip issue is something there are differing opinions about, but it came out so beautiful. it really compliments the knife and the clip is shorter than normal so is not dominating at all. As Chuck had put dual thimb studs on it, it made sense to make the clip ambi-destrous.

Thanks Chuck.

Your knives are incredible Chuck, I desperately wanted the yakuza folder you made. My wife firmly forbid to ever spend that much on a knife, but even she thought it was stunning

Chuck the clip works really well and doesn't take up too much real estate on that beauty ivory handle!
