Fancy Fillet

This is my first knife. The light wood on the handle is from a dead standing spruce I may have relieved the US Forrest service of this summer in Colorado. The dark wood is bloodwood, the spacer is the plastic from the back of a CD case. Last but certainly not least is the blade, Eriksson's finest Swedish stainless, obtained from Ragner. All sealed up with boiled linseed oil.

That's *sweet*!

Mine always end up covered in fish guts though...better stick with the plastic handled ones. :-(
