Fancy fobs

Boreing day so I started messing around with a new fob.Got a SS Native I am going to do a more Native american looking on one.I think the brown round leather and carved bone go well together.

On this one it was just a simple hangmans noose with 7 wraps.I enlarged the hole in the bone with a demel just enough to start the leather through and pull the bead down to the knot by holding the ends with needle nose pliers.Not not make the hole to big it needs to be very tight on the leather so as not to pull off on its on.I have some fancy ideas floating around in my head for the SS Native.Thats the one I am going to use the barrels on with the bone beads.
You really ned to get bone beads for it to work right I tried some glass ones(not a good idea)and the plastic fake ones tended to melt.

Thanks for the tip. I know how to make a hangman's noose, so it should be pretty simple. One of these would look great on my new neck knife from Lynn Dawson. Its the same one in my avatar picture.
